Bit breaker controls
Keyboard and mouse controls
Bit Breaker is built around mouse-driven brick breaking, so your aim hand does most of the work. The default bindings are simple: steer with the mouse, launch with a click, and keep the keyboard reserved for menus, ball cycling, and the upgrade screen.

Combat and ball control
Mouse movement
Steer your active ball and position your next launch angle.
Left mouse button
Launch the ball or fire from the current paddle position.
Right mouse button
Hold to freeze ball movement while you line up a precise shot.
Space
Quick-pause the action during hectic node fights.
E / Q
Cycle between active balls when you have multiple in play.
Tab
Toggle the resource and upgrade stats overlay.
Menus and navigation
Esc
Open the pause menu, where you can reach options, rebinding, and the save-and-quit prompt.
Enter
Confirm selections in the upgrade shop after collecting resources.
Mouse wheel
Scroll through upgrade options when the list is long.
Because Bit Breaker is a single-player experience with no timed input pressure, you never need to mash keys. Take a moment between launches to check your ball count and resource totals, since positioning matters more than reaction speed.
Gamepad controls and controller support
Bit Breaker lists Partial Controller Support on Steam, which means a gamepad works for the main combat loop, but you will still need a mouse for some menus and the upgrade interface. Both DualShock and DualSense controllers are supported, so PlayStation owners can plug in without extra mapping software.
Default gamepad bindings
Left stick
Move the paddle and steer balls across the arena.
A button
Launch the ball or confirm menu selections.
B button
Cancel or back out of a menu.
Right bumper / Left bumper
Cycle between active balls.
Start
Open the pause menu.
