Source: Steam Community
Hello players! A new hotfix for Bit Breaker has just dropped, and it's packed with quality-of-life fixes and balance adjustments based on your feedback. The developer thanks everyone for their reviews and in-game feedback, and this update addresses many of the issues you reported.
Bug Fixes and Improvements
- Fixed controller focus issues after closing the pause menu and while on the main menu.
- Corrected controller button selection in the skill tree, and made it remember your previously selected slot.
- Increased camera speed when using a controller.
- Added arrow keys as an alternative control scheme.
- Improved visibility by giving enemy bullets a white outline and making boss colors lighter.
- Fixed several boss attack behaviors and an issue where the level 10 boss didn't grant an achievement.
- Reduced the number of difficult enemies in later levels.
- Lowered the cost of many orange-resource upgrades to reduce grinding.
- Reduced maximum ball speed to prevent collisions being ignored in the late game.
These changes should make the game feel smoother and more enjoyable, especially for controller users. Continue to play, and if you spot any remaining issues, be sure to let the developer know.
